“Via Crucis” exhibition with performances by Stefano Saletti and Yasemin Sannino

After the boom of visitors of the Easter weekend with over 2000 presences, the Castle of Santa Severa reopened after years thanks to the commitment of Regione Lazio and managed by LAZIOcrea, it is preparing for another purpose full week of proposals.

Sunday, April 8th, as an initiative related to the exhibition of Guido Orsini “Via” in Piazza della Rocca and the “Via Crucis” exhibition in the Sala Pyrgi, at 11.30 am you can watch Stefano’s live musical performance Saletti and Yasemin Sannino. The two artists use and recover in their original compositions, to understand what are the points of contact and connections between the various cultures of the Mediterranean Sea, the ancient language of the sea, the Sabir, which borrow from the popular tradition of the south to the Balkan, Greek, Arabic and Sephardic melodies.

The result is a fascinating folk world-Mediterranean, a mixture full of rhythms and melodies, suggestions and colors. The exhibition can be visited until April 15th and is organized on the initiative of Coopculture, in collaboration with Regione Lazio LAZIOcrea, MiBACT and the Municipality of Santa Marinella. In addition, visitors can choose from various routes to follow in order to admire the beauties of the castle: from the medieval path to the Saracen Tower up to the archaeological area with the relative visits to the Museum of the Sea and of the Ancient Navigation, to the Antiquarium and to the excavations of Pyrgi, excellence of the territory.
