SUMMARY:Tosca - Musical Notes from the World
DESCRIPTION: September 7 at  21:30 \n \nBig finale for “Summer Evenings (Sere D’estate)” at Santa Severa Castle with Tosca’s show “Musical Notes from the World”. Appointment Saturday\, September 7 at 9.30 pm. \nTosca’s journey continues along the territories of the theater-song\, which for years has touched linguistic shores among the most distant. A journey that we find in Clipboard from the world\, the last live album of the Roman singer. \n“Musical Notes From The Live World” is this is the title of Tosca’s new live album that was the culmination of a three-year tour with which the Roman singer brought on stage the much-loved “The Sound of The Voice” and it is no coincidence that by her side \, wanted several guests such as Nicola Piovani\, Gegè Telesphorus\, Gabriele Mirabassi\, Joe Barbieri\, Danilo Rea and Germano Mazzocchetti\, to accompany the formation that has long accompanied it\, \ncomposed by Giovanna Famulari (cello\, piano and voice)\, Massimo De Lorenzi (guitars)\, Carmine Iuvone (bass and double bass)\, Matteo Di Francesco (percussion and drums)\, Fabia Salvucci (vocals and percussion) and Eleonara Tosto (vocals). \nListening reveals the routes of an ideal sound journey\, all played on the elegant sound textures woven by the dialogue between the guitar with the piano and the cello\, supported by bass and percussion. It sails off the coast of Greece with “To Traino” masterfully performed by Tosca\, followed by the Macedonian chant “Ibrahim” but it is already time to land in Lebanon with the splendid “Succar Ya Banat”. It sails again across the Mediterranean to Naples with the intense a cappella yield of “Dimme ‘na vote yes” with the counter-songs of Fabia Salvucci and Eleonora Tosto\, the rewriting of Salvatore Di Giacomo’s poem of “March/Mars”\, embellished with the interweaving between cello and guitar\, and “Second Launvenchoir Choir” for percussion\, vocals and cello. If ethereal and poetic fado of “The port/A mesma mùsica” ideally unites Mergellina and Portugal\, the subsequent “Dumbala Dumbala” takes us with our minds to the heart of the Balkans. Gabriele Mirabassi’s fairy clarinet embellishes “The Annunciation”\, characterized by a tosca song full of lyricism and evocative force. From South Africa\, and in particular from the repertoire of Myriam Makeba\, comes “Nongqongqo” starring the cello of Giovanna Famulari who\, to follow gives us\, a splendid solo. “Via Etnea” with the organ of Germano Mazzocchetti takes us to Sicily\, but we immediately return to Lower Lazio with “Dream Fiore Mio” from the songbook of Ambrogio Sparagna\, sung in duet with Gabia Salvuccie\, and then to Rome with the tradizioanle “Na Serenata a Ponte” in where Nicola Piovani’s piano is giant. The Cape Verdean morna “Scutam Esse Morna” then introduces us to the top of the album with “Doing I Conti” interpreted in two voices with Joe Barbieri and the irresistible grammelot “Prisencolinensiainciusol” by Adriano Celentano for the occasion proposed in duo with the king of the Italian scat GeGè Telesphorus. Danilo Rea’s “The Sound of The Voice” kissed by the piano accompanies us towards the finale with the traditional Romanians “Lume Lume” and “Rumania Rumania”\, the classic “I would like to meet you in a hundred years” and the traditional Christmas “Jingle Bells”. In short\, “Music Notes From the Live World” is a jewel of pure beauty that will not fail to excite those who will dedicate their attention to you. \nEvent curated by Leave \n TICKETS PRICES \nAudience: € 20\,00. SUMMARY:Enrico Montesano “One Man Show”

At Santa Severa Castle on Saturday\, August 24th at 9.30pm. \nAfter a long sell-out series with Rugantino and Il Conte Tacchia with many dates all over Italy he arrives at the theater with his “One Man Show”\, a collection of the most hilarious pieces of his repertoire. The Expression in English refers to “stand-up spectacle”\, without a fourth wall. \nThe great Anglo-American comedians of Cabaret are famous all over the world\, but not to be too foreignphiles we point out that Henry already in 1966\, he made his monologues standing. Then to the Sistine with “Bravo!”\, in the 1979-1980 season\, which consecrated him\, and “Blessed you” of the 1991-1992 demonstrated its qualities\, and by favouring the word\, he addressed social and political issues with his satire. She did not fail to perform in her strong pieces\, that is\, her most famous characters born on the radio in the very lucky series of Great Variety: from the Romantic English Woman\, to Torquato the pensioner\, to Dudu and Cocò\, to Aunt Sally with her wacky advice. and Professor Taddeo. \nRufus in his ridiculous DIY and so many others. \nWith his imitations\, his jokes\, his satirical songs and new characters\, such as the Rapper Femo Blas\, for friends Blas Femo\, and monologues about our current affairs that of ideas \noffers daily: there is one for everyone! \nEvent curated by On Air \nTICKET PRICES: \nAudience: 40 € + 5 € d.p. \nCentral Grandstand: 30t €+ 4 € d.p. \nSide stands: 20t €+ 3 € d.p. \nTickets online: https://bit.ly/2JCz0os \nThe handicapped person pays the price of the whole ticket\, the complimentary ticket companion. SUMMARY:The Cricket's Marquis
DESCRIPTION:August 7 at 21:30 – 23:00 \n  \n \nWednesday  August 7 at 21.30 in the Piazzale delle Barrozze The Cricket’s Marquis is staged by the G. Percuoco Company Free admission subject to availability. \nStaged inspired by the famous comedy filmed by Mario Monicelli in 1981 starring Alberto Sordi. \nIn the papal Rome of 1809 the marquis Onofrio del Grillo\, a Roman noble at the court of Pope Pius VII\, spends his days in the most complete idleness\, attending taverns and taverns\, cultivating clandestine love affairs with commoners and keeping a rebellious attitude in his eyes mother and conservative\, bigoted and authoritarian kinship. His main pastime\, which makes him famous throughout the city\, is made up of countless jokes and pranks which often results in his aristocratic family\, made up of extravagant and closed to the outside world. The rich noble landowner is always able to go out with humor and in a daring manner from the many and unthinkable situations during the whole comedy\, exploiting without shame even the knowledge of the often complacent upper middle class (the court scene with the example is the pillory condemnation of the Jewish cabinetmaker Aronne Piperno). A chance encounter with a poor alcoholic charcoal burner\, Gasperino\, his perfect double\, inspires the nobleman to crown his burlesque repertoire. In various situations he comes to involve the Pontiff in the name of a justice and a renewal always invoked but that never seriously manage to worry the bold and brilliant “Sor Marchese”: in the end\, in fact\, after a mock condemnation to the guillotine inflicted by Pio VII\, is pardoned by the latter\, who grants him to resume his place among the pontifical Sediari.

SUMMARY:La Città Incantata 2019
DESCRIPTION:The new edition of “La Città Incantata – quinto Meeting Internazionale dei disegnatori che salvano il mondo” will be inaugurated on Friday June 28th\, three days dedicated to the world of comics and animation\, promoted by Regione Lazio-ABC Special Projects with LAZIOcrea and the artistic direction of Luca Raffaelli. \nThe first novelty of this year is the Castle of Santa Severa\, a space of Regione Lazio and managed by LAZIOcrea\, overlooking the sea and suspended between legend and reality\, which will host the event with a rich program of meetings\, reviews\, screenings\, exhibitions and workshops\, all with free admission. \nThis magical place will be inhabited by animators\, designers\, cartoonists\, illustrators\, street artists and visual artists\, who will meet the public to tell their work\, style\, techniques\, and creativity. \nThe second novelty is the dedication to the Superheroes. The image of this 2019 edition\, designed by the great artist Giuseppe Camuncoli\, is a reference to some super characters who leave to save the world right from the Castle. \n“The designers who save the world” this year will\, in fact\, be called to civic engagement: actions\, designs and words with the initiative “Also the Superheroes are against the mafias”. \nAnother important appointment of the designers is dedicated to “Comics against every wall. Debate on the use of walls that divide peoples and cultures”\, an event that will involve authors of animated films\, comics and journalists. \nA part of the program will be dedicated to exclusive close encounters\, “Meetings with”: Gabriele Pennacchioli\, Rita Petruccioli\, Konstantin Komardin\, Konstantin Bronzit\, ZeroCalcare. \nThe “Differences meet” return with international guests\, direct comparisons between authors of different professional worlds (animators\, directors\, cartoonists\, illustrators) who will show the public how ideas could be realized with different techniques\, styles and methods. \nSpace for young artists with a 24-hour marathon of young designers and cartoonists to tell their story in 24 tables\, with the participation of students from the Comics schools and academies. \nThe four previous editions\, which took place from 2015 to 2018\, hosted more than 150 meetings\, 13 exhibitions\, over 340 screenings of short films and animated films\, over 200 national and international artists with film premieres and great guests. \nWe are waiting for you! \n

SUMMARY:The Saint On The Broom
DESCRIPTION:In perfect harmony with the popular belief that wants the so-called “night witches” on the night of Saint John\, on Saturday 22 June one of the most amusing and picturesque theatrical jewels designed by Luigi Magni will be staged at 7.00 pm and 9.30 pm\, the comedy “LA SANTA SULLA SCOPA” with ANNACHIARA MANTOVANI and ELEONORA PARIANTE preceded at 19.00 by a post-afternoon preparation aimed at involving tourists and the public visiting the manor. \nThe theatrical event will be hosted in the piazzale della Rocca\, the courtyard of the castle of Santa Severa\, a space of Regione Lazio and managed by LAZIOcrea in collaboration with the Municipality of Santa Marinella and Coopculture. \nPerformed for the first time at the Teatro della Cometa in Rome in 1986 according to the strict guidelines of Magni himself\, the comedy\, directed today by Eleonora Pariante\, enjoys a scenic staging faithful to the original one even in the choice of Nando Citarella as performer of the musical parts written by the same Magni as well as pieces of popular tradition sung and played. \nAs often happens with the works of Magni\, a historical anecdote\, or probably such\, moves the ranks of the work and so\, in the middle of a humid summer night\, under the watchful eye of the white big angels of Ponte Castello and the peremptory resounding of the touches of a sixteenth-century Rome made up of alleys\, small squares and fountains\, the witch Silvestra\, incarcerated and close to the stake\, gets a meeting with the nun Apollonia so that she\, having listened to her\, intercedes with the Pope and obtains in extremis grace and release. \nThe reason for their meeting becomes the perfect opportunity for the author to revisit rituals\, rituals and beliefs\, rumours and truths about witchcraft skilfully juggling anecdotes\, documents\, testimonials appropriately set and revisited in order to accompany the incredulous spectator along a path in-depth study of one of the most intriguing phenomena of the last millennium. \nThe strong weaving of immediate dialogues makes use of the great mimicry of Pariante herself\, a bewitching interpreter of the role of the witch\, and of that continuously changing of energetic Annachiara Mantovani in the role of the Saint\, assisted by interludes linked to the most ancient of musical traditions\, important and effective ingredient to the conquest of the spectator already captured by the rediscovery of the Romanesque vernacular so loved by the author. \nLA SANTA SULLA SCOPA is certainly the theatrical cameo of this skilful contemporary screenwriter and writer\, author of authentic masterpieces of the big screen such as “In the name of the pope king”\, “In the year of the Lord”\, “In the name of the sovereign people”\, “Secondo Ponzio Pilato”\,”Tosca” just to mention those most known by the public thanks to the participation of cinematographers such as Nino Manfredi\, Alberto Sordi\, Gigi Proietti\, Monica Vitti\, Vittorio Gassman\, Aldo Fabrizi\, Franco Nero\, Ninetto Davoli\, Claudia Cardinals. \nThe representation obtained the patronage of the Cultural Association Gigi e Lucia Magni and the staging is in collaboration with Associazione Culturale Genta Rosselli and MARA FUX distribuzioni. \nTicket cost: \nReduced ticket: guys up to 17 years old and groups € 15.00 required booking by calling 3384279858 \nFull cost € 18.00 \nDirected by Eleonora Pariante \nMusics by Nando Citarella \nScenography by Manuela Barbato \nCostumes by Francesca Staccioli
